Sri ViswamjeeHis Holiness Bhagwan Sri Sri Sri Viswayogi Viswamjee Maharaj is a spiritual humanist who is an embodiment of divine and unconditional love. Universal integration, peace, love, brotherhood, service to needy people and propagation of human values are some of the goals of Bhagwan Sri Sri Sri Viswayogi Viswamjee Maharaj. His family belongs to Vajasaneya sakha (Yagnavalkya sakha) the same as that in which Sri Narisimha Saraswathi was born, and to Srivatsa gothra hailed from the village of Chamullamudi. He was born in Guntur on March 5, 1944 to Srimathi Varalakshmamma and Sri Anjaneyulu. His father, Sri Gurrapadiya Anjaneyulu was a great practitioner of austerities. Lord datta appeared to him in a dream and gave him initiation with Taraka mantra. He was also a great poet and led a highly disciplined life. Once on some business he had to go to Benares and live there for some days. One night he had a vision in which he noticed beams of light emanating from the Jyotirlinga (the idol of Viwanatha). Since at the same time his wife in Guntur gave birth to a male child, Sri Anjaneyulu named his new-born son Viswanatha Sastri. Everyone, however, used to call the child Viswam. He studied B.A (Maths) and B.Ed., with Maths and English and in a short span of time he earned name as a good teacher both in Maths and English. His work was appreciated both by students as well as inspecting officers. In tune with his experience he now teaches everybody. In the year 1965, Sri Dattatreya Wadekar Maharaj, a dear disciple of Sri Sridhar Maharaj, gave mantropadesa - a process of spiritual initiation in which the Guru gives to the disciple a mantra - and transmitted all his power to Sri Viswayogi in the same way as Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa gave away all his powers to Sri Vivekananda. From then onwards Sri Viswayogi practiced severe austerities for twenty one years with undivided attention and observing strict celibacy both physically and mentally. While thus engaged he remained free of all traces of ego and attachments of every kind. Through intense yogic sodhana (search) and yogic sadhana (exertion) he became the recipient of the supreme power of awareness. With that he became a Viswayogi and is today regarded as Viswadatta. Out of his boundless compassion, he gave to humanity the mantra - OM SRI SAIRAM GURUDEVA DATTA - which has proved to be a kalpavriksha - a divine wish-fulfilling tree - fulfilling every desire of his disciples. On 11th November 1988 Sri Viswamjee resigned his job as a teacher so that he could fully make himself available for the services of the society at large, and achievement of his goal in particular. His was a like of complete dedication to mankind Swamiji is considered as Lord Dattatreya's Ninth Avathara, Viswambhara who descended, into this world, and into this Universe. He advented in the person of SRI VISWAYOGI Viswamjee Maharaj. He assumed an elemental human body, so that humanity may approximate to divinity and can behold the blissfull form of Brahma(Creator), Vishnu(the Sustainer) and Maheshwara(the annhilator) in one. The Datta Maharaj called Viswayogi Viswamjee as Viswambhara. The great liberated evolved Soul, Kanchi Paramacharya, Sri Chandrasekhara Saraswathy Swami beheld Sri Viswayogi Viswamjee with awe, wonder, mystifying excitement and looked at the lustrous splendour around Sri Viswayogi Viswamjee. The Swamiji got a big sized Rudraksh rosary and bedecked the neck of Sri Viswamjee with the sacred rudraksh garland with adoration, admiration, affection and with affable love. He called and named Viswamjee as "Mahayogi", the greatest of Yogis. The nature of Viswayogi is Purity, Purity and Purity. The creed of Viswayogi is Love, Love and Divine Love. The function of Viswayogi is selfless help to the needy, the sick, the under priviliged and to every aspirant, who tries to attain self-realization through surrender to God. He is verily the gem of purest ray, inhabiting the earth today to unite humanity. Viswamjee's MessageThe entire universe is enveloped by divine energy which sustains every object, from an atom to the human being. This life-force that is in every living creation, is God. Not realising this truth, man is under the mistaken notion that God is somewhere far away from him. That is the reason why he is not able to love another individual. On the other hand, he develops hatredtowards his fellow men. Ancient Indian culture never taught anyone to hate another. The configuration of atoms results in the formation of matter and the whole world is formedin this manner. Man is the embodiment of divine energy. The family is the central supporting pillar for maintaining righteousness. For the world to gain social enlightenment, families should be brought together, through the bond of spirituality. The body of a human being is like a temple, with the heart as the altar. Man worships God not because He would grant them favours, but by doing so, the divine energy within may manifest itself. A person, who through spiritual practices, establishes a permanent relationship with the all-pervading divine energy, himself gains certain powers and uses the same for the welfare of the human family. He is a Yogi. Viswamjee and the UniverseThe upanishads says, the one being who is the life and light of all and is world consciousis Brahma and is in Brahma-Vihara. Sri Viswamjee is in constantly in this state of universal consciousness. He attained world consciousness by uniting his feeling with infinite feeling. He realised that God is in ALL. It has become possible for him to see God in All, because he crossed the limiting barriers of the individual human person. His realisation that there is immense unity between any individual and the universe is the result of and is a sacred boon of liberation, which he attained from the all domineering self. Viswamjee has a spiritual Vision. It is the vision of the whole truth. He takes a view ofman with divine love towards him. So also he views the universe with love. He understood perfectlythe meaning of the celebrated saying "From love the world is born, by love it is sustained". It moves towards love and lives in love. That is the emphasis he lays in his talks. When we have divine love, our minds, ego, intellects rest and we attain unision with everyone in the universe. Viswamjee's RealisationViswamjee's spirit of renunciation has in it the deepest reality of soul. He grew beyondthe need for money & self. Since his working days as a teacher, he spent his earnings on spending for the poor, needy and deserving. Divine love is not an idle exercise of thought force. In itspragmatic and applied sense it is seva to fellow human beings. He is not a recluse or a retiring sage or a tapasvi. Instead he involved himself in rendering yeoman service to fellow human beings from a hired room, in Railpet, Guntur where he spent many years shedding light and lustre on allwho visited him for help and success. He became free from bondage by realising that material things do not help him to become the highest or to realise the highest. He dedicated himself to the idea of reforming the individual, of the family units of the country and humanity. He chose the path of making men and women travel to divine living. He strives incessantly to bring about a revolution in human nature without attatchments to everything that is worldly. He made his body the power house to draw strength, physical and spiritual to render service to humanity .
