He presented Swamiji with the certificate under the flag which has 48 stars that adorns his office which was presented to them in World War-II. Swami congratulated him for continuing work and blessed him to seek higher positions to serve the people.  Mayor spoke about his mother who passed away last year.  She was avid aviation enthusiast.  Swamiji said, "People who love their mother are close to HIM and the Lord." 

Later Swamiji met with Sheriff of Knox county Mr. J.J as he is better known as. He presented Swami with a  Sheriff's badge of honor.  Swami spoke about the key role the police play in the people's lives.  He said, "Law enforcement people have to be tough in dealing with criminals."  Swamiji was saddened to hear all the shootings and bomb threats to schools etc..

At noon, the divine Chandi Homam was performed in Swamiji's presence in Knoxville which was supervised by Pandit. Garlpati who is the head priest of Mt. Soma, Asheville, TN
