Divine Blessings to all on Sankara Jayanthi, April 23rd 2015
My Hearty Divine Blessings to all on the ocassion of Sri Sankara Jayanthi. Jagadguru Sri Adi Sankaracharya was the greatest exponent of the doctrine of Advaita Vedanta and a savior of Vedic Dharma. He preached the Mahavakya "Aham Brahmasmi". At the time when Sankara was born there was lot of conflict and fight among the worshippers of Siva, Vishnu, Shakti, Saura (Sun) and Ganapathi. So he established a panchayatanam, for example, the worshippers of Siva will have Siva in center and the other four deities in the four corners, worshippers of Vishnu will have Vishnu in the center and the other four deities in the four corners and so on. Now we have added atheists to this list. Sri Adi Sankaracharya established four peethams in the four directions of India in Dwaraka, Badri, Puri and Kanchi to revive and spread the message of Sanaatana dharma in general and Advaita Vedanta in particular.
When Adi Sankara said Brahma Satyam, Jagat Mithya, people often misunderstand that he said that the world is unreal so we need not do anything in this world. What he meant by Jagat Mithya is that the world is ever changing and not permanent. Though he said Aham Brahmasmi, he did not keep quiet when his hands got burnt or wait for the body to be burnt, instead he recited the Lakshmi Narasimha Karavalamba stotram and was saved by doing so. On another ocassion when he saw a Brahmin memorising the rules of grammar in the early morning, he did not say "Aham Brahmasmi", instead he sang "Bhaja Govindam, Bhaja Govindam, Bhaja Govindam, Govindam bhaja Mooda mathe". The situation in todays world is also similar to when Sankara was born, each person thinking that his religion, or his sect in a particular religion are superior to others religion. We should change this and all of us should unite and proclaim humanity as the Universal religion, and enlighten human values and thereby make ourselves and the world peaceful. We have to fill the heart with love and mind with peace and offer it to the Lotus feet of the Lord.
What Adi Sankara preached is Sanaatana dharma and today Sanaatana dharma has been recognised all over the world and June 21st has been declared as International Yoga Day. Sankara's life conveys that the yogis should be real yogis and not bhogis (enjoyers) or rogis (suffering with diseases).
I convey My Divine Blessings to all on this occasion.

Swamiji Conveys His Divine Blessings to all on the ocassion of Akshaya Tritiya, April 21st 2015
Swamiji has conveyed His Divine Blessings to all on the ocassion of Akshaya Tritiya, April 21st. The word "Akshaya" means the never diminishing and the day is believed to bring good luck and success. Every moment on this day is very auspicious and initiations made or valuables bought on this day are considered to bring success or good fortune.
It is believed that Goddess Lakshmi manifested Herself on this day, and so it is the day to enlighten the Sri Sakthi (Sri power) in us, worship Goddess Lakshmi and receive her blessings in the form of of all theAstha siddhis ( the eight forms of wealth) and serve the society. It is therefore customary to worship Goddess Lakshmi on this day, if possible by buying some gold, symbolizing Goddess Lakshmi. Any charity done on this day will enable to get the blessings of Guru and God, and bring prosperity to such a person.
Some of the legends associated with observing Akshaya Trithiya are that of Lord Krishna and Kuchela. Kuchela, also known as Sudama, the friend of Sri Krishna, was a poor Brahmin and met Krishna for some financial favor. Sudama, carried handful of poha (beaten rice) with him. On reaching, Dwarka, Sudama was ashamed to give the poha to Krishna. But Krishna noticed the parcel in the hand of Sudama and grabbed it and ate the poha. Sudama was stunned to see, the great Krishna eating his poha. Sudama, the poor Brahmin was so overjoyed with the gesture of Krishna that he forgot to ask for financial help. On reaching his village Sudama could not find his old house. His house was replaced by a palace and his family members were in top condition wearing best clothes. Sudama, soon realized the divine play of Lord Sri Krishna. So, the day Sudama visited Sri Krishna was observed as Akshaya Tritiya. Even a small offering to God or Guru on this day with devotion is enough to earn His grace in full measure.
Another significant mythology is that of the Pandavas receiving the Akshay Patra from Krishna on the Akshaya Tritiya day. In the Mahabharata, when the Pandavas were in exile, Sri Krishna gave them an Akshaya Patra(a bowl) which gave unlimited amount of food. Krishna had given it to Pandavas on Trithiya day. Therefore it is believed that all investments on the day will surely increase in value.
Swamiji has conveyed His divine Blessings to all on this occasion and blessed everyone to attain the grace of Goddess Lakshmi, serve the society and bring peace and prosperity to the world.
Swamiji conveys His Divine Blessings to all on the ocassion of Chaitra Poornima & Hanuman Jayanthi, April 4th 2015
My divine blessings to all on the occasion of Chaitra Poornima . This Poorniama is as significant as Guru Poornima. On this day the life force or the Kundalini power has come into existence. Hanuman symbolizes the life force or Kundalini power and for this reason Chaitra Poornima is also considered as Hanuman Jayanthi in some parts of the country. On this day the life force from the sun, through the moon enters the sushumana nerve in us to enlighten us and make us strong and powerful.
There is a lot we can learn from Lord Hanuman. He always chanted the letters RaM and filled each and every atom in himself with Lord Rama. By filling his heart, mind and speech with the name of Lord Rama and chanting the Agni Beeja "Ram" he has become very powerful and an ideal for the entire mankind. With the divine power created by chanting the Agni Beeja "Ram" he has created a magnetic field and is protecting and supporting everyone. Lord Hanuman is alive even today and is living in the caves of the Himalaya mountains.
Yatra yatra RaghunAtha KIrthanam Tatra tatra Krita-mastakAnjalinm BAshpa-vAri-paripUrNa-lochanam MArutim namata rAkshasAntakam
Even today wherever the glories of Lord Rama are sung, Hanuman is present there with His head bowed, hands folded and eyes filled with tears of devotion and blessing the people.
Performing Hanuman Pooja, Hanuman Vratam, chanting the hanuman chalisa or doing parayana of Sundarakanda drives away all physical and mental afflictions and makes us powerful and peaceful.
On the occasion of Hanumath Jayanthi I wish and bless you all to imbibe these qualities in your mind and lives and secure the blessings of such a chiranjeevi and Para Brahma Swaroopa, Sri Hanuman by constant Nama japa of Sri Rama.
