Swamiji Conveys His Divine Blessings to All on the ocassion of Vinayaka Chathurthi, September 19th 2012
My Hearty Divine Blessings to all on the occasion of Vinayaka Chathurti on the September 19th 2012. This year Vinayaka Chathurthi has a special significance that is on Wednesday, and the rising of the Swathi Nakshatram on the Wednesday makes it even more significant and this combination is rare.
Lord Vinayaka is the bestower of Siddhi and Buddhi i.e success and intellect. In fact Siddhi and Buddhi are not two wives of Lord Vinayaka as many people think, they are actually Goddess Saraswathi and Goddess Lakshmi. When you worship Lord Vinayaka he bestows intellect and proper use of intellect gives victory or siddhi and with success we get the blessings of Astha Lakshmi or eight forms of Lakshmi.
On this Vinayaka Chathurthi I wish that everyone should worship Lord Vinayaka along with Siddhi and Buddhi and with grace of Vinayaka may you be blessed with success through ripening of the intellect and thus gain the eight forms of Lakshmi and make your lives fruitful and bring peace to yourselves and to the world and make this world an abode of peace.
