120^th Urs celebrations of Hazarat Kale Mastanshaw Walia Darga was celebrated at many places in Guntur on Friday ( 8/6/2012) The Urs procession  started at 1.00 AM on Thursday from Nagarapalem, and proceeded behind the DARGA, through Patnam Bazar, Lalapet, Peddapuli Sandu, Sangadi Gunta,and other places where Mastanayya treaded in those days. The procession reached Darga on Friday afternoon around 1.00 PM. After receiving Prasadam at    the house of    (DHARMAKARTA)       Ravi Ramamohana Rao, they  reached the house where  Mastanayya’s Chair is located. Along the way, devotees offered Boondi , sweets etc. to the Horse that welcomed Mastanayya.

Deepotsawam (Festival of lights) was conducted on Friday evening in the Darga. Sri Sri Sri  Viswayogi Viswamjee  Maharaj, Head of the Viswaguru Peetham  lit the lamps and  offered flowers to Mastanayya. Subsequently, Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, MP , Guntur, carried Chadars around the Darga and offered them to Mastanayya.

Speaking on the occasion Swamiji said that Mastanayy preached the equality of religions. If one treads on the path Mastanayya has preached there will be peace and happiness in this world.
